Luke Goodfellow

Luke’s professional journey began with earning a BSc Hons degree in Architectural Technology from Liverpool John Moores University. Following his graduation, he spent five years gaining valuable experience at Anderton Gables Project + Building Consultancy, based in Preston and Manchester. It was here that he first met and worked with John MacMillan and Dan Whelan, with whom he is now reunited at Fairhurst Buckley. Reflecting on their collaboration, Luke says, “It feels like the band is back together.”

In his role as an Architectural Technologist/Surveyor, Luke oversees the measured survey and drawing aspectsof projects nationwide. His specialised skillset adds a new dimension to Fairhurst Buckley’scapabilities, contributing to the company’s expanding portfolio of services.

Outside the workplace, Luke has an eclectic mix of hobbies. Notably, he taught himself to backflip at the age of 13 in his back garden. These days, he’s not looking to rekindle his commitment to backflips but to fitness, declaring, “2025 will be my year.” However, as a self-proclaimed tech enthusiast and avid gamer who builds and customises gaming computers, he acknowledges the challenge of balancing his tech passions with his fitness goals. Although he dreams of running a marathon, Luke humorously admits that for now, completing a 6k run remains a work in progress.
