Fairhurst Buckley Unveils Innovative ‘Magic’ Brochure.
Fairhurst Buckley, South Manchester and Stockport’s largest firm of Chartered Surveyors and commercial estate agents, has launched a brochure that’s leaving clients and partners both intrigued and impressed with its unique “magic” design.
The interactive piece, known as the Magic Card, first caught the eye of Fairhurst Buckley’s Managing Director, Nigel Blyth, at a sector marketing event last year. The event, hosted to mark Hatters Promotional Merchandise’s 30th anniversary, showcased some of the most creative promotional tools in the industry.
Nigel immediately recognised the Magic Card’s potential as an innovative alternative to a standard brochure, one that could remind existing clients and demonstrate to new clients, the extent of the company’s services in a memorable and engaging way.
“It’s certainly a captivating promotional tool,” said Nigel. “It’s very tactile—you can’t help but fold and flip it over to reveal the many key messages and images. It left a lasting impression on me, and I’m confident our clients will be just as impressed. And now, with the addition of our new Measurement & Data Capture service, the Magic Card is the perfect way to showcase our ever-expanding capabilities.”
Designing the brochure was a task taken on by Stockport-based design and web agency, Future. Founder Nick Yates admitted that at first, the Magic Card appeared to be a complex challenge, even for experienced artworkers.
“It really is visually stunning as it continuously unfolds and transforms,” Nick explained. “At first glance I thought it would be difficult to produce, but once we followed the template, it was surprisingly straightforward for our designers. It’s impactful, memorable, and very hard to put down, so, job done!”
The Magic Card was supplied by Stockport-based Hatters Promotional Merchandise.
Managing Director Jo Shippen, affectionately known as the ‘Queen of Promo’, had introduced the Magic Card during her company’s 30th anniversary celebrations.
“As part of our 30th anniversary, we invited suppliers to showcase their most popular and innovative products at an exclusive event, Jo said. “Promotional products work best when developed with fantastic creative and great design that really brings it to life. This was a brilliant collaborative project, and I’m delighted that the Magic Card has been such a success for Fairhurst Buckley.”
