Joseph Shearsmith

Joe brings many years of customer service experience, combined with strong attention to detail and a talent for managing engineer task flow. By working around individual customer needs, Joe ensures that our Facilities Helpdesk clients always feel confident they are in safe hands.

Before joining the Fairhurst Buckley team, Joe worked as an Accessibility Advisor with global media company Sky. In that role, he supported customers across a wide range of needs – managing accounts, resolving faults, coordinating engineers for vulnerable customers, and even helping through times of bereavement.

Outside of work, Joe has a wide range of interests. A favourite book of his is The Lost World by Michael Crichton, though away from the Helpdesk, Joe is anything but lost! He enjoys gaming but is certainly no couch potato. With a major home renovation underway, he’s busy creating his family’s ideal home. When not up a ladder or building walls, Joe keeps active with regular exercise, helped along by his three dogs who make sure he gets plenty of country walks.

A true animal lover, Joe is also a keen watcher of wildlife documentaries and enjoys sharing his passion for animals with his family as days out often include visits to zoos or animal parks.
