Allen Tiplady

Allen is an experienced Commercial Property Negotiator and already well connected in the local area having previously spent 13 years at Buckley Commercial as well as positions at North West Development Agency, English Partnerships and Railtrack Property. 

With a BSc in Urban Land Economics and a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Allen is well qualified to head up, and grow, the Commercial Property Management element of Fairhurst Buckley.

Once brandishing a full head of hair, in his younger days Allen was often mistaken for a certain character on Home & Away who was very popular with the ladies – although he admits that more recently, he was mistaken for Barry from Eastenders!

Away from the office, Allen has a keen eye for antique and mid-century furniture. Very much environmentally aware, his inspiration for up-cycling projects is fuelled by TV programmes such as Salvage Hunters. Given the chance, Allen would tour the UK in a VW Campervan for months on end, all around the coast and all over Scotland visiting distilleries and salvage yards. A pipedream? Possibly as his wife prefers her home comforts!

And a good book? “I’m looking forward to reading ‘Bootstrap Your Life’ by Oliver Cookson but, until the Campervan adventure begins, for now my focus is on being an integral member of the team at Fairhurst Buckley.”
