Fairhurst Buckley strengthen board in response to business growth and ambitions.

Fairhurst Buckley, a prominent Stockport-based commercial property consultancy and South Manchester’s largest firm of RICS Chartered Surveyors, has strengthened its board by appointing Luke Atkinson as Director.

This move reinforces the firm’s response to increasing client demands nationally and its growth ambitions.

Luke began his career at Fairhurst Estates in 2008 as a Purchase Ledger Clerk. After a brief period away from the business, gaining valuable experience outside the industry, he returned to the firm in a more senior capacity. He attributes his personal growth as an accountant to this outside experience, which he believes equipped him with skills to enhance his all-round effectiveness.

Fairhurst Buckley’s Managing Director, Nigel Blyth, praised Luke’s contributions since rejoining the firm in 2014.

“Luke has been a vital part of our growth and development plans. He played a key role in the financial aspects of our merger with Buckley Commercial, which was followed by his promotion to Associate Director.

“We supported Luke through his ACCA qualification to become a Chartered Accountant, and I am delighted to see him advance to Director.”
