Luke’s main role is to support the team and ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the helpdesk. To ensure clients’ site problems are rectified and remain compliant, Luke logs all reactive and preventive maintenance jobs and tasks, liaising with contractors along the way to make sure the jobs logged are completed to a satisfactory standard and in a timely manner.

Although new to the team (January 2024), Luke has ambitionand hopes to develop his role calling upon his previous experience within facilities management where he was involved in planning jobs through to close, completing compliance and reactive maintenance tasks and liaising with contractors and clients across multiple sites to ensure everyone is kept informed of progress. A second ambition is to eventually travel to all parts of the world but for now the Helpdesk takes priority. Having owned his own company, Luke understands that, on a Helpdesk, it’s keeping people happy that matter; whether working as part of a team or taking care of clients.

Away from the Helpdesk, Luke’s time is still spent helping! Whether it’s captaining his local team playing pool in Stockport Leagues or being dad’s taxi service taking his children to cheerleading practice & competitions – you’ll probably find a few packets of crisps in the car too! Spending time with family, enjoying holidays, going on long walks with the dog, going fishing, and watching sports and TV, he certainly keeps himself occupied in his spare time.
