Blake Saunders

Although currently a trainee, Blake’s contribution in the finance team is invaluable, assisting Luke, Jordanna and Rachel in the management of customer and supplier accounts for Fairhurst Buckley and other clients. As well as processing invoices and updating the day books – an important role in ensuring clients and suppliers are invoiced and paid in good time – Blake provides support in administrative duties.

He gained an early interest and understanding of accounting while studying for his A-level, obtaining a practical knowledge of business needs through previous positions and relevant work experience. In his downtime, Blake enjoys keeping his body as well as his brain fit by going to the gym and mountain biking wherever he can as well as meeting up with friends on the weekend.He has also achieved level 1 in British Sign Language, and although he would one day like to move abroad, for now Blake is focussed on eventually becoming a Chartered Accountant.
