Join our Building Consultancy Team at Fairhurst Buckley

We have a number of exciting opportunities at various levels for ambitious and highly motivated individuals to join our Building Consultancy team as part of our continued growth plans.

Key duties

  • Undertaking a full range of building surveying instructions on a variety of commercial properties including offices, retail, trade counter, roadside, and industrial.
  • Carrying out professional work for clients including dilapidations, schedules of condition, part wall work, defect diagnosis, building reinstatement cost assessments, and pre acquisition building surveys.
  • Undertaking residential homebuyers and building surveys.
  • Performing the role of designer, contract administrator, and project manager on projects with typical values from £20,000 to £1million.

 

Key skills

  • MRICS qualified, or engaged in the process and keen to attain Chartered status.
  • Good interpersonal skills - can work in a team and also under own initiative
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A professional, positive, ambitious and enthusiastic attitude
  • Flexible and able to work under pressure
  • Full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle
